Whistler Summer.

I love heading to Whistler in the winter to snowboard, but it is just as fun to visit in the summer! There is so much to do, and the landscape is so breathtaking.

I headed to Whistler for the weekend and checked in at the stunning Four Seasons Whistler - It is such a treat to stay at such an amazing hotel- It is so beautiful, tucked on Blackcomb Mountain it is stunning from the moment you arrive ~ The lobby is exactly how you would imagine a mountain resort - the staff greet you from their outdoor desk made out of an huge piece of wood, and the interior is filled with stone & wood as well - So cozy! 

The rooms are magnificent (I always love Four Seasons beds) and the views from the decks are just perfect (we got to peek at the mountain & the pool/spa area - So dreamy!) I also adore their restaurant, Sidecut - They have some fantastic cocktails (I recommend the Sangria, it comes in the coolest serving bottle!) and the Rigatoni is to die for.  

For the summer they have set up the cutest Courtyard Camper where you can again get the delicious Sangria and sit outside on their cozy patio (they have both open & covered seating full of comfy pillows & throws - You can sit out here during the evening as well when they serve S'mores in the winter & Shave Ice in the Summer) It is a must visit!

My favourite part about the Four Seasons? Their outdoor pool! It is so happy to relax in after a day of snowboarding in the winter...but ohhh is it ever wonderful in the summer! This year they just introduced their private Moet Cabana's that you can rent by the hour that come with a bottle of Moet Ice (so delicious, you poor it over ice and serve it with fruit, perfect for the pool!) and a plate of fresh fruit - Seriously the best relaxing treat you can have!

During our stay we also visited the Scandinave Spa (a must do when in Whistler) which is an outdoor spa full of cold & hot pools as well as steamrolls, sauna's and chill rooms - You can spend 7 hours here just going between the pools & rooms and hanging out by the big fire pits- It is amazing. They also offer massages and I loved every minute of mine! A must for a relaxing getaway.

About a 15 minute walk from the Four Seasons is the most beautiful lake, Lost Lake, that you can hang out on (there are plenty of docks on the water and a beach area) and you can walk/run around - It is definitely worth a visit if you are there during the summer, it is so peaceful! You can also do Stand Up Paddle Boarding on the lake which is so much fun.

We also had so much fun on the Porsche Experience where we got to go adventuring in a luxurious Porsche Cayenne with Canadian Wilderness Adventures that the Four Seasons arranged for us. It was so exhilarating to go on the back roads over puddles and up giant hills and around boulders in the Porsche, and we got to see areas you can't reach otherwise, including a breathtaking waterfall - It was really fun!

There is so much to do in the summertime in Whistler- We had so much fun exploring the mountain in the sunshine! Thank you to the Four Seasons & Whistler Tourism for having us.
