What is a Lightroom preset?
A preset is a template containing manual edits that have been previously made in Lightroom. They turn your original image into the same style you see on Cara Jourdan’s Instagram. You can think of them as a filter for your photo.
What is the difference between the mobile and the desktop presets?
The desktop presets are compatible with all image types, but are primarily designed for RAW images and cannot be used on a mobile device. Where the mobile presets are designed especially for JPEG images, including phone images and are meant to be used as filters for those who want to edit quickly on their phones. The mobile presets do not work on the desktop Lightroom.
What do I need in order to use the presets?
For the Desktop version of the Presets, You will need the Adobe Lightroom Classic installed on your desktop or laptop computer, which requires a paid subscription. For the Mobile version of the presets, you will need the Lightroom Mobile App, it is FREE!
Do these presets work on every photo?
These presets are very easy to use, as they process your photos beautifully with just one click! However, every photo is different, so these presets will vary on each photo depending on the lighting, camera gear, composition, etc. There are so many factors that determine how a preset looks on each photo. We encourage you to make them your own by playing around with different adjustments. Minor adjustments can make a huge difference! Refer to our Editing Tips PDF.
We recommend shooting in RAW for using the Desktop Presets, because there is more data in the photo to work with. However our presets will work on JPEG images.
What camera SHOULD I USE?
Our presets have been tested on many different camera file types, so they can be used on any camera. Keep in mind that quality of the camera and lighting will vary the results.
What kind of files are the presets?
The desktop presets are .XMP files and the mobile presets are .DNG files
Which currency do you use?
All of the digital goods are in USD.
What happens after I purchase the presets?
Once purchased, you will automatically receive an order confirmation email, followed by an email containing a link to the file. This link will expire 24 hours after it's first clicked, so make sure you get it downloaded! If you do not receive an email, make sure you entered the correct email address and check your junk folder. If you’re having troubles downloading from the link provided, try using another internet browser.
I can’t get the presets to work, can I get a refund?
