We rented a car (a 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider, which Allison drove because it had no power steering & was a standard, she is impressive!) and drove along the Amalfi Coast, it was so beautiful and I highly recommend taking a cruise up and down the coast if you are visiting Positano, it is a beautiful way to see more little villages and there are lots of cute fruit stands along the way which are fun to stop at as well - 

We stopped at this one that is right at the top of the hill past our hotel, Le Sirneuse, and the stand owner was so kind, he let me press my own fresh orange juice, let us take a ton of photos and even put a flower behind my ear. Apparently this stand has been in all sorts of movies and of course, lots of blogger photos) 

Driving also lets you look back at the city, which is so beautiful, especially if you don't go out and see it from the water, it is nice to see it from above.

We also visited the famous beach lined with orange umbrellas and sun loungers - a perfect place to spend a day at the beach.

I have so much love for Positano, it is another place I know I will visit again soon.
