There is something so pretty about a bright, fall day - I love the colours when the leaves change and the energy in the city as everyone shifts to a new season.

I wanted to celebrate the season with a fall inspiredl picnic, and because I am such a huge fan of Etsy - They are my go-to for home decor items because they have an amazing range of hand made items, vintage items and cool patterns and materials that are so beautiful - I headed straight there to pick out a few new cute things to make my picnic perfect!

My favourite material right now is linen - In clothing, in home wear, in everything! It is natural & beautiful and I am obsessed, so the first thing I chose was this amazing Linen Throw Blanket that makes for a perfect picnic blanket OR table cover if you are having your picnic on a picnic table.

Next, to make it cozy, I found these perfect subtle yet fall coloured pillow cases- They are so thick & lovely that they will last for a long time, and add a touch of colour to my living room after I used them for my picnic - perfect!

My favourite thing was the picnic basket I found! So cute!! It is vintage, so it was one of a kind, but you can find similar items here Another favourite I had was this fall mug ~ I forgot to take it out of the basket for the photos, but it was perfect for sipping warm tea in the cool air.
