If you are in Venice, a visit to Burano Island is a must! It is about a 45 minute boat ride (which is beautiful as you pass other islands as well) and the island itself is so special - All of the homes are different colours, and there are tons of delicious cafes & restaurants to sit at and enjoy a cappuccino or Aperol Sprtiz while watching the world go by. The island is known for their lace production, so of course there are also a lot of beautiful shops with lace goods. It is a happy spot to spend an afternoon under the Italian sun!
