Topknot Tutorial with John Frieda Canada

Topknot Tutorial with John Frieda Canada

To achieve the John Frieda x Carajourdan undone romantic topknot, spray Beach Blonde Sea Waves Salt Spray in damp hair after washing with Go Blonder Shampoo & Conditioner and dry and style as usual. For next day hair (like this tutorial), spray Beach Blonde Sea Waves Salt Spray on dry hair to get that extra texture.

Next, put your hair in a ponytail and spin the ends into a bun.

Secure the end of the bun with bobby pins, or, if your hair is thicker, secure first with an elastic first then use bobby pins to secure where needed.

Pull out a few strands around your face & neck and spray the pulled pieces with Beach Blonde Sea Waves Salt one last time, and you're done!

I love wearing my hair in an undone topknot during the day with a flirty dress & flats, and it works perfectly to move into night if you add heels to the look. It is super romantic and perfect for Spring/Summer, and is so easy to do, it is a great option if you are traveling as well. Add any cute sundress and you are good to go from day to night!

I love adding a bit of natural blonde highlights to my hair, especially during the summer season, and it is super easy to get those beach blonde touches by using John Frieda® Sheer Blonde® Go Blonder Shampoo & Conditioner . You can use it daily to gradually lighten your blonde, and by pairing it with the Go Blonder Lightening Spray (which is ammonia free) it can make your locks up to 1 1/2 shades lighter!

Another of my favourite John Frieda products is the Beach Blonde® Sea Waves® Salt Spray - It is definitely my go to for those undone waves and my favourite hot weather up do style the undone topknot. It enhances your natural waves and increases grip & texture making it perfect for getting that romantic, carefree look. It is low sheen & has a matte finish too, so it gives that perfect natural finish.
