I absolutely love Mexico ~ It is one of my favourite countries to visit. The people, the food, the weather, it is all so wonderful!
I visited Puerto Vallarta when I was younger, but hadn't really explored the town itself. This trip was amazing because I had the chance to really spend time in the town and visit some of the shops & eateries - It is now one of my favourite cities!!
You can definitely get lost in the beautiful streets - There is so much to see and do, I definitely recommend giving yourself a lot of time (two days if possible, even!) to just wander around the town - Some of my favourite restaurants (I am a huge taco fan, so these are mostly all taco places) were
Tacos Robles -These are beef tacos in a deep fried hard shell - I don't usually like hard shell tacos, but seriously, these are insane - Address- Constitucion Emialano Zapata (open Mon-Sat 7-3pm, but they often run out by 3pm so get there early!)
Ceasar's Coconut Stand - Gotta have the fresh coconut water! You can also bring your coconut back when you are done the water & they will cut it up for you to eat. Address-Aquiles Serdan #255
Gaby's- They have the best Mole around! They also have a huge tequila selection. This is a sit down restaurant, so great if you want to have a little break and not eat at a stand. It is also where I took the stairs shot, so a pretty staircase too! A little trick they taught me~Exhale when you finish drinking tequila, it makes it not burn! Address -Mina #252 Centro
Vallarta Factory - Super delicious Mexican Chocolate & Coffee. Need I say more?! Address Liberated #100 Centro
Mariscos El Guero - Delicious, Fresh Ceviche Tacos ~ Also a sit down restaurant. Address - Madero #291
