Hawaii is one of my most favourite places to travel - The ocean, the beaches, the food, the vibe -it is absolutely my kind of place.

I headed to Oahu and from the moment I landed and the warm air hit my skin, I knew it was going to be an amazing adventure.

There is so much to see on the Island of Oahu - I have been here twice before and was able to discover new things to do and new places to visit each day of my trip. On our first day, we ventured to the Makapu'u Tide Pools, and the setting is absolutely breathtaking! To hear the waves crashing into the rock is so magical, and there is a stream of water that pushes through the rock when the waves come crashing and on the day we were there, you could see a rainbow in the water spout - it was so cool!

To get to the tide pools is a bit of a hike (you can hike to the lookout point on a path, but to get to the tide pools you have to venture off of the path onto the rocks) This spot is definitely gorgeous, but it is a bit dangerous, so if you are looking to swim in tide pools but don't want to hike and/or want a bit more of a chill place, I definitely recommend Shark's Cove on the North Shore- it is super each to get to and is not as sketchy as these tide pools.

We also did the Lanikai Pill Box Hike at Sunset, and it was such a gorgeous view from the top! It was a really easy hike so made for the perfect one to do at sunset, because it wasn't too bad coming down in low light.

There is so much more to come from Hawaii, stay tuned!
