Route 66 is such an iconic American Highway, and Roy's Motel & Cafe makes you feel like you have gone back in time - It is definitely worth a visit if you are ever driving from Palm Springs to Vegas!

Roy's Motel was founded in 1938, but after the interstate 40 was built in California, the amount of traffic that passed by Roy's decreased, and they eventually had to close, BUT, the cafe & gas station are still open, and the motel was left exactly how it was, so it is super cool to walk around and see the furniture and style from the 30's.

Now it is used for tons of photo shoots (apparently Vogue was there a few days before us!) and you can still fill up and grab a pop and a souvenir tee when you pop by. Such a fun way to end our road trip!
