Chanel is so well known for their amazing couture, ready to wear, footwear, handbags and jewelry collections, but many people don't know that they celebrate and pay tribute to all of the workshops and artisans who create the special detail pieces from lace to buttons to embroidery on all of their collections each year at an event called the M'étiers d'Art.
Chanel presents these collections outside of the traditional fashion schedule each year, and for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection, it took place at the Cinecitta Studios in Rome.
The collection was inspired by French Actresses and Italian Cineman, hence Paris in Rome. The collection was a mix of moody tones including navy blue, ochre and cappuccino paired with Chanel classics, beige & cream.
This amazingly beautiful leather bucket bag was a part of the collection, and I just fell in love with the oversized look and the gold detailing - So beautiful!
The collections will be in stores in June, I can't wait! I am already obsessing over the pointed toe version of the slingback slide, so I will of course be first in line when the collection is available to shop. For now, you can see the entire runway presentation of the collection here.
